Original oil paintings from the imagination of Ryan Herrin. Ryan's primary focus with his artwork is in the area of tonalism oil painting from imagination. His tonalist landscapes often have a common theme of a sunset or night sky with a strong focus on mood and atmosphere, often combining realism with blurred/distored forms. When he is not painting his tonalist landscapes, some of his other oil paintings have common themes of Native American artwork, birch trees, owls, and fishing/camping scenes in nature. Ryan never limits himself to one specific technique and enjoys experimenting with new ideas, mediums, and textures.
